To provide spaces for entrepreneurship, POSCO has created an incubating space for venture businesses in addition to a private/public (Ministry of SMEs and Startups) collaboration incubation center (Seoul CHANGE UP GROUND). In addition, practical support programs such as market support and connected investment are used to nurture venture businesses and enhance their capacity.

The POSCO Venture Fund applies the "life cycle-global-virtuous cycle" principle to invest in excellent corporations fostered in the Venture Valley and others in the market. Together with the best fund managers at home and abroad, POSCO has created optimal funds for each level of growth for venture businesses, supporting the value enhancement of the companies invested in. The 2020 Venture Fund consists of both a seed/growth fund that invests in promising areas and a strategic/CVC fund that focuses on new growth domains, completing the basic foundation for life cycle investment.

POSCO holds the IMP twice each year (in the first and second half of the year) to discover and increase the value of promising venture businesses. Total support is provided for the entire process, including the idea stage, creation of a business model, investment, and follow-up management; our mission is to ultimately create a venture platform for a virtuous cycle that helps excellent venture businesses grow and foster other new enterprises.
The Corporate Citizenship Social Challenge makes POSCO Group's business capacity and resources available for utilization. Also, it connects with the sustainable goals of the UN following eco-friendly and low-carbon trends. The goal is "environmental, sustainable cities · production · consumption" as various social impacts are produced with partners that have new ideas.
POSCO has created an "industry-university-institute information portal" EP app that allows sharing of excellent industry-university-institute research results in addition to information regarding the Venture Fund and Venture Valley corporations. It comprises two apps, "Industry-University-Institute Platform" and "Venture Platform," that help the relevant staff of various groups frequently share and utilize excellent research results and venture information.
